Real vs. Virtual


You’ve heard of political attack ads. Well, this is an attack ad on life itself.

Depressing, don’t you think? But it begs a question:

Does the National Geographic Society
as currently configured
want us to engage reality
or to engage pictures of reality?

Put another way:

Are we a Society that celebrates the real world?
Or are we a media company trying to lure customers into a virtual one?
