Just weeks before he flew to Beijing to celebrate National Geographic‘s new publishing partnership with the People’s Republic of China, Editor-in-Chief Chris Johns killed a National Geographic story on Censorship in China.
Does his decision reflect a savviness about the new rules of international publishing (i.e., don’t annoy your global business partners)? Or is it a sign that this Onion video is no joke?
